I don’t even know how to begin to promote this video more enthusiastically!
My family and I discovered this absorbing archaeology video just recently. I got the chance to watch it sometime last week. We stayed up till late, but we just couldn’t make ourselves click the end button and resume it later. It contains a load of information, and discoveries based on the Biblical text, it is just amazing!
The actual archaeologist, Don Patton Ph.D, who worked on the sites, takes you on a descriptive and photographic tour of the places he visited and worked on. There is David’s jawdropping palace, the pool of Siloam, the tabernacle where Hannah prayed….oh just so many specific and providential pieces of history that are proofs of Biblical accuracy and reliability! Even an atheist archaeologist became a believer after finding such awesome evidence that what the Bible says is true.
But don’t let me spoil all the surprises! There’s much more- that’s why you should check it out for yourself!
This is definitely a video that should be watched with the whole family! Invite your friends over too! Do it this coming weekend, and you won’t regret it. Whip up a batch of cookies, or plan a potluck, and gather everyone in the living room and click “play”.
What? you say, invite my friends over for an archaeology documentary? It’ll be so odd. But is it really? How readily would you invite them if you were to watch a Christian movie like Facing the Giants for example, or Courageous? Why should a Biblical documentary be (mentally) labeled as boring?
It only takes an 1 hour and 20 minutes of your time, and this will definitely whet your appetite for learning more about Biblical history! I took time out of my homework “timeframe” just to post this because I couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you.
So what are you waiting for? 🙂
